Utica hadn't done well against Watkins Memorial recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Utica Redskins managed a 55-49 victory over the Watkins Memorial Warriors. The Redskins' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Defeat or not, Watkins Memorial got some senior leadership from Shelby Lott and Ella Perry. Lott went 8 of 18 en route to 22 points, while Perry dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lott has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Caldwell, who posted five points.

Utica now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Watkins Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
