Softball Recap: Bunnell Beats Weston for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Bunnell came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Weston Trojans by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-2 on Saturday.

Bunnell's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Weston, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bunnell is set to challenge their familiar foe Joel Barlow at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Weston will take on rival Masuk at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
