The Crest Lancers won the last time they faced the Oswego Indians, and things went their way on Friday too. Crest came out on top against Oswego by a score of 53-41.
Crest got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Golden out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Levi Prasko, who scored 12 points.
Oswego's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Josh Hutchinson, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Tanner O'neal who scored 15 points. Hutchinson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.
The win got Crest back to even at 6-6. As for Oswego, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crest on the road again on Tuesday and play against Pleasanton at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Pleasanton will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Oswego, they will head out on the road to take on Yates Center at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses for Yates Center and four for Oswego.
