Foxcroft Academy is 2-8 against Presque Isle since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. Last Monday, Foxcroft Academy suffered a rough 71-47 loss at the hands of Ellsworth. Foxcroft Academy has not had much luck with Ellsworth recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Jadon Richard put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 22 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Lucas Sands, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Presque Isle couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a serious blow against Old Town on Saturday, falling 58-28.
Foxcroft Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Presque Isle, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-1.
Foxcroft Academy came up short against Presque Isle in their previous meeting back in February, falling 67-55. Can Foxcroft Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
