Northwest Crossroads recap September 24, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in Northwest Crossroads this week, Andrean beat Hobart 28-14,. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Lowell took down Highland 22-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. George Fields ran for 248 yards in the win.
The Brickies' dynamic duo of Andrew Barras and Drey Devereaux proved to be unstoppable against Andrean, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Barras threw for 127 yards and Devereaux had 73 yards receiving. Monte White helped Hobart's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 24 yards.

Hobart's Barras and Devereaux have formed a dream team this season, leading Northwest Crossroads in both passing and receiving yards. Barras has thrown for 745 yards this season, while Devereaux, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has 24 catches for 372 yards. Keith Kilmer's team's Fields leads the league in rushing yards with 769.
The Brickies' offense has recorded 166 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Red Devils have permitted only 58 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Trent Grider's team takes on the Fighting 59ers. As it stands, the Trojans are in fifth, while Andrean is in first.
Munster made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,192 from 2,823. The improvement was the result of 14-0 victory over Hammond Morton last week.
