The Central Cambria Red Devils lost against the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The game between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Central Cambria falling 55-41. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points they have scored all season.
Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Connor Serenko, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Grady Snyder, who scored 16 points.
Central Cambria now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Westmont Hilltop, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Central Cambria will head out on the road to face off against Penn Cambria at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Westmont Hilltop will be home for the holidays to greet Somerset at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Somerset is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
