The Unalaska Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Hooper Bay at home and fell 65-33. Unalaska was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hooper Bay apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.
Hooper Bay's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ernie Joe, who scored 15 points. Lindsey Smith was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Unalaska's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Hooper Bay, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
