AA Region 3 recap Sept. 26, 2012
Screven County moved up to 144 from 221 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AA Region 3. A 36-26 win over Windsor Forest helped the Gamecocks improve their standing.
Screven County led the league in scoring this week after putting up 36 points on the Knights.
Harlem's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Trey Price has thrown for 142 yards this season, while Dalton Green has one catches for 46 yards. Dontel Frails leads the league in rushing with 257 yards.
A big matchup in AA Region 3 this week will be when the Gamecocks take on Harlem. Screven County is in first place, while the Bulldogs are in sixth place.
