Coldwater won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cardinals blew past the Mounties 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-13.

Mya Porter paced Coldwater's offense, picking up 12 kills. Porter got some help from Brooklyn Closson and her 24 assists. Porter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Coldwater's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 14-9-4. As for Northwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-15-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Coldwater and Northwest will both be playing Eaton Rapids the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will host the Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mounties will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
