The Keystone Wildcats will head out to take on the Midview Middies at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keystone is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.
Keystone was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Black River on Monday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Pirates. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Bristol Foster, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Modock, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
Keystone was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .567. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Midview sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Avon on Monday.
Savannah Holcomb spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Midview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nina Ballachino, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Keystone's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for Midview, their record is now 12-5.
Keystone's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's matchup. The Wildcats have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.2 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Midview, though, as they've been averaging only 1.4 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Keystone continue to outrun the ball?
Keystone got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2018 against Midview by a conclusive 10-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
