The Cloudland Highlanders put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Unaka at home to the tune of 52-23. Cloudland has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 23 points or more this season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Unaka struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They are winless (0-4) when they can't control their own glass like that.
Cloudland pushed their record up to 14-0 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Unaka, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.
Cloudland will head out on the road to take on the Huskies at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Unaka, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Longhorns at 6:30 p.m.
