Sheridan have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Lake County at 7:00 PM. The two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Sheridan and four for Lake County.
Sheridan didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 22-28 to Jefferson last Friday.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-49, which was the final score in Lake County's tilt against Platte Canyon. The state rankings had actually given Lake County a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
