There's no place like home for Shelby, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Mason County Central Spartans on Thursday as they made off with an 18-7 win. Considering the Tigers have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Shelby has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 9-18 Montague and 8-15 Mason County Central (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 35% over those games). As for Mason County Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.

Shelby has already played their next game (against Montague), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mason County Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pentwater at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.57 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
