Palestine lost against Edgewood two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Palestine Wildcats fell 56-47 to the Edgewood Bulldogs. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Palestine's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Edgewood, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-10.

Palestine and LaPoynor will round out the year against one another at on December 28th. As for Edgewood, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Malakoff at 2:15 p.m. on December 31st.
