Volleyball Recap: Ramsey Comes Up Short

It was a good run, but Ramsey unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bunker Hill Minutemen by a score of 2-1. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Minutemen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Ramsey started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-16, 25-22.

Kelli Cook paced Ramsey's offense, picking up six kills. Cook got some help from Audrina Bell and her six assists.

Ramsey's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Bunker Hill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ramsey will square off against Lincolnwood at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Bunker Hill, they will face off against Staunton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
