Tampa Bay Tech got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maxwell Daley out in front who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Daley grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zayden Martin, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Tampa Bay Tech's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Manatee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.
Tampa Bay Tech will look to defend their home court on Monday against Plant City at 8:00 p.m. Plant City presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tampa Bay Tech in Florida (Plant City is ranked 106th, while Tampa Bay Tech is ranked 316th). As for Manatee, they will head out on the road to take on Lakewood Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakewood Ranch is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
