Brentwood Christian fell victim to Cypress Christian's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Warriors, falling 48-0. Brentwood Christian was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Meanwhile, Legacy Prep Christian Academy was not the first on the board last Friday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged Bay Area Christian out 17-14. The win was just what Legacy Prep Christian Academy needed coming off of a 47-0 defeat in their prior contest.
Legacy Prep Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Wyatt Francis rushed for eight yards and a touchdown and Kyle Prazak picked up 133 receiving yards and a touchdown. Prazak's longest reception was for an incredible 73 yards. Legacy Prep Christian Academy also got help from Nathan Timm who showed off his sure hands for 97 receiving yards.
Cypress Christian's victory bumped their season record to 6-3 while Brentwood Christian's defeat dropped theirs to 5-4.
