As a matter of fact, that's the most points Humphrey has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lillian Willborn, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 15 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Wetumpka smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in six consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alabama Christian Academy). They breezed by New Brockton to the tune of 64-32 last Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Alabama Christian Academy pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Wetumpka, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
