Heard County (Franklin, Ga.) snapped the nine-game winning streak of
Bowdon (Ga.), with a 42-19 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Braves were up 28-7 at the half.
Heard County grew its lead to 29 points entering the fourth quarter. HC scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown catch by
Tori Rogers.
The Red Devils came in allowing just 15.1 points per game this season.
The defeat comes as a step back for Bowdon, which notched a 48-22 victory over Bremen in its previous outing.
