The Salpointe Catholic Lancers and the Houston Christian Mustangs will face off at 2:30 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 79-43, which was the final score in Salpointe Catholic's tilt against Clovis West on Thursday. Salpointe Catholic was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-16.

Meanwhile, Houston Christian had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They came out on top against Pinnacle by a score of 79-72. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

As for Houston Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
