While Thales Academy Rolesville's victory against Neuse Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Lions 6-5. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won five in a row.

Madelynn Davidson spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on four hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Kendall Hudson was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Thales Academy Rolesville's record now sits at 5-7. As for Neuse Christian Academy, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-9-1.
