Sickles' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adrian Thomas, who went 8 for 9 en route to 17 points and seven boards. Those 17 points gave Thomas a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Eddy Hernandez, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds.
Hillsborough's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Sickles, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsborough will challenge Brandon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
