The Hastings Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Norris Titans at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hastings is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
Last Saturday, Hastings came up short against Columbus and fell 58-51.
Meanwhile, Norris entered their tilt with Bennington with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Norris came out on top against Bennington by a score of 68-59 on Friday. Given Norris' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while Bennington is ranked 42nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Norris found their leader in underclassman Evan Greenfield, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Greenfield has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Macoy Folkerts, who scored ten points.
Hastings' defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Norris, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.
