The Stratford Spartans put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Knowledge Academies 72-12 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-6.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stratford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamila Roper , who scored 15 points along with 4 blocks and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Hannah Johnson, who scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds.
Stratford's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Knowledge Academies, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stratford will take on Maplewood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Knowledge Academies, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Antioch at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Antioch is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
