Mountain View has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Riverdale Ridge Ravens at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Mountain View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyson Mares-Benz led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Mares-Benz hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Grayson Morby, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Riverdale Ridge can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They claimed a resounding 87-49 win over Fort Morgan at home. Given Riverdale Ridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Mustangs are ranked 319th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Mountain View's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Riverdale Ridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.
Mountain View was dealt a bruising 87-52 defeat at the hands of the Ravens in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Riverdale Ridge's Dylan Nieto, who scored 15 points along with seven steals and five assists.
