Clare extended the longest winning streak in Jack Pine this week by beating Roscommon, 33-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Clare led the league in scoring this week after putting up 33 points on the Bucks. Jordan Gross ran for 169 yards in the win.
Gladwin's dynamic duo of Landon Grove and Demetri Trice proved tough for Standish-Sterling to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Grove threw for 174 yards and two touchdowns and Trice had 117 yards receiving. Michael Fennell helped Gladwin's passing attack out by catching two balls for 28 yards.
The Flying G's' Grove and Trice have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Grove has thrown for 1340 yards this season, while Trice, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 27 catches for 700 yards. Brett Jobin from Roscommon leads the league in rushing with 1084 yards.
In 138 carries Grove has accumulated 970 yard this year.
Kelly Luplow's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,170 from 5,387. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 33-0 victory over Joe Holloway's team last week.
