The Opp Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 67-57 to New Brockton. That's two games in a row now that Opp has lost by exactly ten points.
Despite the loss, Opp still got an impressive performance from Dorian Harris, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Ballard, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Opp's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for New Brockton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Opp and Elba will face off at 3:30 p.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Elba has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 223 points over their last three matches. As for New Brockton, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pike County at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Pike County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
