Iowa Colony's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kenadie Francis, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds. Francis hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Eryn Roberts was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Bay City lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Khylee Perry, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and two steals. That was a full 38.1% of Bay City's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alizia Gonzales, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Iowa Colony has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. As for Bay City, their loss dropped their record down to 13-15.
Iowa Colony will head out on the road to challenge La Marque at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for La Marque: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Iowa Colony has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
