The Lima Senior Spartans won the last time they faced the Woodward Polar Bears, and things went their way on Friday too. Lima Senior breezed by Woodward on the road to the tune of 92-38. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Lima Senior has managed all season.
Lima Senior got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Shawn Foster out in front who scored 19 points along with three steals. The contest was Foster's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jekel Cotton, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
The victory got Lima Senior back to even at 2-2. As for Woodward, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4.
Lima Senior will be home for the holidays to greet Bellbrook at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. Bellbrook will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while Lima Senior is ranked 203rd). Woodward won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Genoa Area at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th.
