York Institute can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Rockwood Tigers 35-34. The Dragons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Rockwood, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Coming up, York Institute will venture away from home to take on Watertown at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rockwood, they will host Cumberland County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Jets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.7 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
