The Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 54-43 win over GRACE Christian on Monday. That's two games straight that Wake Christian Academy has won by exactly 11 points.
Wake Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Emma Crissman, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Crissman has scored at least a third of Wake Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Wulf, who scored 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Wake Christian Academy's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-16. As for GRACE Christian, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.
Wake Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against St. David's at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th. St. David's will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Wake Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. GRACE Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
