Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Suffield Academy). They were the clear victors by  a  27-0 margin over the Wilbraham & Monson Academy Titans on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  17-0  last Wednesday.
 Charlie Gamere looked comfortable as he  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Chase Beloin was a standout: he got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  home run, six  RBI,  and two  runs. He has become a key player for Suffield Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  three  RBI, but 3-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Joe Banks, who  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI.
 Suffield Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .721. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .500 or higher in four consecutive  contests.
Suffield Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Wilbraham & Monson Academy,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-8.

The timing is sure in the Tigers' favor as the  team sits on three straight wins at home while the Wildcats have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for Wilbraham & Monson Academy, they will square off against Salisbury School at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Crimson Knights will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight.
