Even though the Lee County Bobcats scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, the Breathitt County Bobcats still came out on top. Breathitt County claimed a resounding 90-60 victory over Lee County at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Breathitt County.
Breathitt County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Austin Sperry, who scored 20 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. Another player making a difference was Isaac Bellamy, who scored 21 points along with 3 steals.
Breathitt County's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lee County, they bumped their record down to 2-3 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Jackson City the next time they take the court. Breathitt County will head out to face Jackson City at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Lee County will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
