Brandon is a perfect 4-0 against Gulfport since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will take on the Admirals at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Brandon sitting on four straight wins and Gulfport on nine.

Brandon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Oak Grove 30-27. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted against the Warriors since November 26, 2021.

Brandon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lahare Bolls and Monte Johnson. Brandon got some further help from Travion Washington: he made 16 total tackles (5.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, Gulfport faced Petal in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Admirals breezed past the Panthers to the tune of 45-10. The result was nothing new for the Admirals, who have now won seven games by 28 points or more so far this season.

Gulfport's win came from a few key players Brandon will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cooper Crosby, who rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last nine games he's played. Javious Hales did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 93 receiving yards.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Gulfport, racking up 15 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Cordarious Payton, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Brandon's record now sits at 7-5. As for Gulfport, their record is now 10-2.

Everything came up roses for Brandon against Gulfport when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 42-0 victory. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Admirals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
