Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Inman's Third in Last Four Outings

Inman won the last time they faced Goessel and Ellie Thimmesch did her part to make sure it happened again. The Inman Teutons walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bluebirds on Saturday for which the team can thank Thimmesch, who had 13 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Inman easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17.

Inman has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season. As for Goessel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-9 record this season.

Inman and Goessel should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. The Inman Teutons will square off against Remington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (100 vs. 252). Meanwhile, Goessel (ranked 112th) will meet Peabody-Burns (ranked 339th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
