Melrose (Mass.) captured the lead in the fourth quarter and held on for a 13-7 victory over
Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, Mass.) on Saturday. The Red Raiders took the lead for good when they ran for a touchdown.
The score was knotted at zero heading into the half. The Red Raiders took the lead indefinitely on a touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Wakefield Memorial's only touchdown came on a run in the third quarter.
Melrose went into the matchup giving up only 14.4 points per game.
The win was a nice bounce back for MHS, which lost to Tewksbury Memorial last week, 32-14.
