The Easley Green Wave lost to the Daniel Lions last Friday, but the Easley Green Wave didn't allow the Daniel Lions the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Easley secured a 49-45 W over Daniel.
Easley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Meya Mckinney, who scored eight points along with five steals. Mckinney continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Olivia Gramblin, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Easley's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Daniel, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Easley and Walhalla will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Walhalla presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Easley in South Carolina (Walhalla is ranked 44th, while Easley is ranked 168th). Daniel will be home for the holidays to greet Blacksburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
