Parkrose had to endure  a  12-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a  run and slipped past the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs  6-5. That's more bragging rights for the Broncos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with one  stolen base and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April.
 In other batting news,  Julius Blair was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Casey Moyes, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run.
Parkrose's  victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-12 and their overall record up to 7-15. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record  this season.
Parkrose will have a chance to go back-to-back against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
