Quinton Hilliard went supernova for Byrd, rushing for 114 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Hilliard got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 58 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Maxie, who rushed for 154 yards on only 14 carries.
Byrd's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. It was truly a group effort as James Logan, Kaidan Abraham-Miller, and Cameron Evans picked up one apiece.
