The Eufaula Ironheads will head out to  take on the Warner Eagles  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Eufaula hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the  team is eager to reverse.
Eufaula came up short against  Vian on Thursday, falling  9-1.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Warner and Haskell meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again  on Thursday. Warner lost  16-8 to Haskell. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Haymakers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
 Colton Swimmer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Jaxson Cash, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Warner  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .541. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .500 or higher in three consecutive  matches.
 Eufaula's record is now 5-7. As for Warner, their record now sits at 4-6-1.
