Eric Allen was a one-man wrecking crew for Calumet New Tech as he rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Allen's longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another receiver making a difference was Javon Lawrence, who picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Calumet New Tech was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 410 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Osceola Grace E only gained 232.
Although Osceola Grace E took the loss, they still got scores from Eli Cocanower and Mason Clark.
Calumet New Tech will face off against River Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Calumet New Tech is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for Osceola Grace E, they will challenge Hammond Bishop Noll at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
