Paul (PJ) Soltero was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up five earned runs off seven hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. That run marked the first that he scored this season.
