On Thursday, The South Windsor Bobcats never let their opponents score. They were the clear victor by a 22-0 margin over Avon.
South Windsor was led to victory by Ethan Burke and Logan Sherwood. Burke rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown, while Sherwood rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
South Windsor's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Avon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
South Windsor will be playing in front of their home fans against Rocky Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Rocky Hill is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Avon, they will head out on the road to face off against Bristol Eastern at 6:30 p.m. on November 10th. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Jaiden Fore and Nikolai Meltser.
