Basketball Recap: Frontier School of Excellence Piles Up the Points Against Guadalupe Centers

Frontier School of Excellence won against Ozanam last Thursday with 55 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Frontier School of Excellence simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Guadalupe Centers Aztecs 55-23. Frontier School of Excellence has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 21 points or more this season.

Frontier School of Excellence got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dejuan Henderson out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Henderson is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Nate Grayes was another key player, putting up eight points along with ten rebounds and four blocks.

The win made it two in a row for Frontier School of Excellence and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for Guadalupe Centers, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Frontier School of Excellence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-29 victory against Frontier STEM on the 19th. As for Guadalupe Centers, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on University Academy Charter at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
