It was a good run, but Westwood unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Paramus Catholic Paladins by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Cardinals have suffered since April 4th.

Westwood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Walsh, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Paramus Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Looking ahead, Westwood will challenge Pascack Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Paramus Catholic, they will square off against Don Bosco Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
