Last Tuesday, Tuloso-Midway humbled Robstown with a 51-23 victory.
Meanwhile, Miller was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 44-40 to King.
Despite the loss, Miller saw an underclassman step up: Hailey Martinez scored 14 points. Martinez scored a full 35% of Miller's points, the 16th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Tuloso-Midway's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Miller, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
