Conrad Science fought the good fight in their overtime contest on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the team lost 28-29 to First State Military Academy. Conrad Science were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as First State Military Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up.
The defeat dropped Conrad Science's record to 1-2. The win bumped First State Military Academy's record up to 3-0.
Next week Conrad Science take on Red Lion Christian Academy at 7:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. First State Military Academy will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against St. Andrew's in two weeks at 4:00 PM. First State Military Academy will be strutting in after a victory while St. Andrew's will be stumbling in from a loss.
