Paolillo was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Gianna Ianetta, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Faith Vencill, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Pymatuning Valley's defeat  ended  a  ten-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 17-2. As for Edgewood, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record  this season.
 Pymatuning Valley will stay at home for another  game and welcome Kirtland at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
