The Lincoln Christian Bulldogs will square off against the Memorial Chargers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 146th, while Memorial is ranked 46th).
Last Tuesday, Lincoln Christian beat Regent Prep 38-25. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln Christian.
Meanwhile, Memorial came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Durant as Memorial made off with a 54-32 win. Memorial has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Jalil Cotton was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Fabian Harris, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Lincoln Christian now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
