It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-66, which was the final score in Chatham Central's tilt against North Stanly last Friday.
Meanwhile, West Montgomery have had to suffer through a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on South Davidson with a sharp 43-12 victory. West Montgomery were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
West Montgomery's win lifted them to 2-4 while Chatham Central's loss dropped them down to 0-6. In West Montgomery's win, freshman Darrein Little rushed for 138 yards and 2 touchdowns and senior Payton Coble rushed for 154 yards and 1 touchdown. We'll see if Chatham Central have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
